WHAT TO BRING

Our lodges provide all the comforts of home, but you may want to bring a few extra personal items.

 Warm clothes (the lake can be windy and cool at night even in the summer months)

- Sleeping bag

- Bug jacket or repellent

- Rain gear

- Extra footwear and gloves

- Flashlight and batteries

- Camera / Binoculars

- Sunblock

- Choice of food

- Towels and linens

- Personal hygiene items

- Fishing rod and tackle

HUNTERS

- Hunter orange cap and vest (camo orange is not acceptable in Ontario)

- Previous hunting licence (Canadian or American)

- Weapon of choice, gun, bow or cross bow

- Soft or hard gun or bow case (legal requirement)

ONTARIO HUNTING REGULATIONS - visit the Ministry of Natural Resources at www.mnr.gov.on.ca

Canadian Firearms Declaration Form - it is necessary to fill out a temporary gun permit if you are bringing your own firearm into Canada. The fee is $25.00 payable at the border crossing

Non-Resident Firearm Declaration Form - forms are available by emailing cfp-pcaf@rcmp-grc.gc.ca or by calling 1 -800-731-4000 (Canada and US) or 1-506-624-5380 (other countries) and from all Custom offices across Canada. Visit the Royal Canadian Mounted Police website for more information www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca

**Do not sign your declaration form until you are asked by the customs agent**

Hunting Licence & Outdoor Card - Non-residents can buy a hunting license and Outdoor Card online at www.ontario.ca
